Art.No.: WATERTOOLS
Keywords: In-situ Seawater COD Analyzer
Supplier: Qingdao Watertools Technology Co., Ltd.
The in-situ seawater COD analyzer is specialized in the measurement of COD in seawater. Based on the standard analysis method of sea water, the measurement of COD is performed by the sequence of alkaline potassium permanganate oxidation, potassium iodide reduction and spectrophotometry. It can be integrated into buoys, shore stations, survey ships and other platforms. It is suitable for the measurements of dilute samples in the ocean and concentrated samples in the discharge outlets.
The salient features of seawater are high salinity, complex composition, and extremely high chloride ion. Based on this situation, the COD analysis of seawater is the alkaline potassium permanganate method. Compared with other digestion methods, our analyzer has the advantages of short analysis period, simple operation, and low energy consumption. It is an arbitration method for determining COD in seawater.
