沉積物柱狀取樣器(柱狀采泥器)用于從軟的、沙質(zhì)和中等硬度的水體底部取樣。
柱狀采泥器的使用非常簡(jiǎn)單。柱狀采泥器既可以從淺水中取樣,采泥器也可從深水中取樣。當(dāng)采泥器進(jìn)入水中時(shí),采泥器取樣管頂端的塑料閥門會(huì)打開,確保水可以自由流過(guò)取樣器管。柱狀采泥器可通過(guò)用手推或者自身重力插入采樣底部。當(dāng)采泥器采集到所需的樣品時(shí),將采泥器從沉積物中取出,在上升過(guò)程中,采泥器頂端的閥門會(huì)由于水壓的作用而關(guān)閉。采泥器向上移動(dòng)產(chǎn)生一個(gè)真空作用,使得樣品保留在采泥器的管中而不會(huì)損失。當(dāng)采泥器從水中取出后,通過(guò)一個(gè)活塞將樣品取出進(jìn)行分析。
